Why the SEC attacked Provision. Professor Robert Fletcher's Pursuit of Success
The journey to millionaire or billionaire status is rarely untroubled or without pitfalls. One bad post on a blog or website only highlights one segment of our lives. The story of Professor Robert has been a study in business, finance, marketing, endurance, and overcoming opposition. After numerous successful endeavors, Professor Robert started Provision which provided a highly-valued commodity to the supplement industry. The product was Humate or fulvic acid, which Provision acquired through working partnerships with the suppliers of this material. Provision grew at amazing speed, which you might consider a good thing. However, a supplier to Provision encountered an SEC issue that was not Provision issue. Nonetheless, the SEC struggled for months to attack Provision and Professor Robert. While the SEC release seems to paint a negative story about Provision, in the end, there were no criminal charges, no search of the offices, but there was an agreement to close the company, allowing the SEC to absorb the $5 million of company assets. Bottom Line: The SEC release was resolved in what must be seen as strong-arm tactics to attack any type of business, make ugly threats, and take money from otherwise good companies.
